Anyone ever smoke a porketta?
I love em, but usually had them cooked in oven or crock pot. Wondering how smoking one would taste?

I haven't but it sure seems like it would be a perfect candidate for slow smoking.

The ones i've bought are usually a pork butt. My favorite is from a butcher from my home town, but that's 200 miles away.. The ones I get locally just dont taste the same. Suppose I should try to find my own seasoning based on internet versions.
