Brinkmann Smoker

I'll pass commenting on this one, heck I'm driving a 1989 that cost me $2019.00 but it gets 34mpg.

Not a bad looking unit and it's heavy duty, but that vertical is reall small diameter for anything other than yardbird. I'd shop around for that kind of money.

You are right. The grill size in the vertical is only 15" diameter. I couldn't even put a full rack of ribs in that small of an area. That is why I wanted feedback from you pro's, I probably would not have caught that until it was sitting on my door step.

Mark, you can find 20" pits of similar design for equal or less money.

Check out the OC-10 on page 1 http://bbqpits.biz/barbeque_products.html

For another 200 beans you could go this route http://www.outlawsmokers.com/BBQ_double_door.htm

Check out a recent thread on smoker manufacturers for more ideas.

KC......Thanks for the tip. I went to the Factory Direct site, and you are very right. The model OC10 is a much better unit and larger for only $950.00. Thanks alot. That is exactly what I am looking for.

Mark, the sales guys name is Henry. He's very good at answering e-mails. They will upgrade to 3/8 material or make the firebox or vertical square if you want to.

That is good information also. I think going square on the vertical would work better for me. Appreciate it KC.
