Hello to all,

I am from West Central Ohio and work as a full-time firefighter. Several of my brothers at work put me onto this site and I have already found it very useful.

I first was taught to smoke in a Char Broil Red Bullet by my Grandfather. It worked okay but just did not fulfill my desire to smoke big cuts. I inherited the smoker when Pappy passed away several years ago and I used it until this June. I built my first UDS. It was an amazing process that I wish I had captured in pictures. I have since smoked brisket, ribs, chicken halves and salmon. I hope to expand my menu considerably and would love to get to know guys who have extensive smoking experience.

Looking forward to becoming a productive member of the Brethren.

Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality. Feeling motivated this morning so I threw some chicken halves in the UDS with some rub on. Now getting a smoke on.
