Hanger Steak!

Pulled these out of the freezer yesterday. I really love hanger steaks.

While they were warming up, I got some fresh bread going...

Over the coals for a quick direct cook.

Simply served with green beans and the bread....

Mmmm... Love hanger steak. RD is the only place I've been able to find it, but not on every visit. But it's got to be one of the most unappetizing looking things when it comes out of the package before butchering it.

Thanks Titch. This is the bread process. It's pretty easy and I've been making it for a while now.

Thanks all. I picked up the hanger steak from my grocery store, Mariano's. It's in the butcher case. If they don't have it out, just ask. I'm not sure if they have it at all stores, but I've been lucky with mine.

Will have to check my local one to see if they carry it. Thanks. Maybe I'll checkout the new massive one they opened in Northbrook or is it Glenview.
