Default Loving my new Vision Kamado

Man you guys have inspired me totally! I have been smokin up a storm. Ever since my Kamado was delivered last week I have used it every night for a week. Reading through some of ya all's posts on Reverse Searing was a real eye opener. My first attempt was this ground chuck burger, gotta say it was the best burger I have ever made, thanks for the inspiration.
Last night I seared some fresh caught Mahi with a home made rub and it was just great! Thanks for all your posts on how to cook Mahi. Next it's on to Corned beef. do you prefer the first cut of brisket or the 2nd cut (Brisket Deckel) I am leaning towards the fattier second cut and heading to the butchers today. Your thoughts are most welcome!
Jed

Go with the Deckel "point end" for some great corned beef.

The top vent leaks around the edges when i close it down. Will be doing a little tooling and improve the seal. Same for the bottom vents, they leak around the edges too! Thanks, Dub

Saw one of these for the first time at Costco on Wednesday.

A guy was buying one as I was browsing through the grills and outdoor area.
