Non remote external temp probes...
Trying to get a positive answer on remote temp probes seems impossible. It seems to be like a love/hate relationship, there is no happy medium. Sooooo….. I will ask this, what is a good "non remote" multiple temp probe? One that has 2 to 3 probes??? Really trying to get a good one but don’t want to keep buying them over and over. Going outside @ -20 in the winter to check temps is not the worst thing to me. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks!

I believe Maverick makes a multiple probe model that does not have a remote. I would stay away from Polder whatever you do.
I don't know about their other products but I have a thermapen from thermoworks (http://www.thermoworks.com/) and couldn't be happier with it. Granted this is for instant read, but they're other products should be up to spec. |

The Mavericks are ok, but I say go with Thermo Works, they make the Thermapen and everybody uses them. The accuracy is within 1.8 degrees for this one, and it is relatively cheap.
