Default Son wanted ribs for bday and some bonus pron...

One of the few times I was really happy with my own BBQ. I thought these ribs turned out really well. I changes up a couple things, and it seemed to create a flavor profile I really liked!

Also, a couple shots from a previous cook I did where I experimented with a potato recipe and did some bacon wrapped pork loin along with some monster chicken breasts I brined.

My oldest turned 10 today so I asked him what he'd like dad to cook for his birthday. He said ribs!

Cooked on the PG500 @ 300-325 ...amazed at smoke ring!

Previous cook where I tried to do "fried potatoes" ... Note to self do not cover with a lid. I also should have cooked them directly on the griddle instead of in the CI pot. Live and learn! They were still tasty!

What makes bacon grease better? A little butter!

Should have not put the lid on and should have cooked these guys on the skillet directly for my desired result.

Pork tenderloins wrapped in bacon!

Yummy.... but I like the bigger loins than these kind of cut in half length-wise ones. Also big ole chicken breasts finishing after some direct heat action to crisp the skin.

Anyways, catching up with some cooks pron, and the kid loved the ribs! I should have taken a picture or two of him with greasy rib mouth and fingers.
