Cooking Class Swamp Boys MD Q School Quick Review

Earlier last week Rub contacted myself, Dan and Chris (3 Eyz). He asked about how much snow were we supposed to get. We all said what snow? Come on Snow in MD in October.

Little did we know that Rub was leaving Winter Haven, FL for "Winter Heaven", MD.

Here are a few pics to share with the Brethren. The weather was so cold on Saturday that when Rub went to cut the Brisket he could not cut it.

Despite it all we had a great time and enjoyed his class. If you have the opportunity to take the Swamp Boys class I recommend it in any weather!!!

We start on Friday with a beautiful fall day.

Dan not wearing shorts. Could this have been a sign?

Rub went to Wal-Mart. Is he just cold?

Now Saturday. Here it comes.

I believe Rub is thinking. "What Time is my Flight?"

After it is all done Rub still has a positive attitude.

Sorry about the weather Rub. Last two classes I did (Oct and March) dropped down into the low 30's. Not ideal!

IIRC your class in Warminster wasn't exactly a tropical paradise!

Definitely not ideal but what can you do. When you're given a challenge it's time to step it up.

I looked at it like a contest, sometimes things happen that you didn't plan for and you've got to make the best of it. That's what we did and we had fun and got 'r done. The class had a great attitude and was fun to work with. But I am sure glad I don't have to live in the snow like that. I can see how it could get old.
