Default Bad Boy Bob's BBQ Review (Pt. Washington, NY)

I just visited Bad Boy Bobs BBQ in port washington, NY.

When I pulled up it was at the end of a parking lot next to the docks on the water. There is no eat in service, just take out or you can sit by the water under unbrellas at a table.

Now the people eating there did not look like you average joe. Keep in mind that this was located next to a yact club. The men were preparing to get on there 50ft boats. The women sat under the umbrellas, wearing very large sun hats (Think of curious George and the man with the yellow hat). They ate there ribs and other foods with a knife and fork. They must have thought I was crazy by staring at them, little do they know who the crazy ones were.

I ordered a Pulled pork and Potato salad. The price wasn't bad, about $6 but I have to say there was a minimal amount of pork in this sandwich. I think the coleslaw was more than the pork. I got about 1/4 cup of potato salad (Equivilent to 3 small pieces).

The pulled pork wasn't bad, it was a little dry and some of the ends were a little tough. I will attribute that to the slow business and having the meat sit to long to keep warm. The Sauce they had was terrific. They did not smother the sandwich wit it, just a littel and gave yo usome on the side. The Potato salad was great as well.

Overall it was pretty good. I do think that he will struggle to do business in the location, would be better suited for a fish place. He does offer packages that may be appealing for a large number of poeple going out on their boat, but i am not sure he has the right clients. I will go back again and try somehing else.
