Hi, I'm Chris, currently from Birmingham, AL, the land of the white sauce. But I grew up in South Carolina, the eye of the barbecue storm where vinegar and pepper, mustard and tomato swirl around and eventually collide...in squeeze bottles, generally.
In my job, I get to travel a lot, so I've learned a little about Oklahoma smoking and Texas brisket and had my first Kansas City ribs a month ago.
I've got a gas grill at the house for quick cooking and a big drum smoker with a firebox for real 'cue creation.

Dreamland was better, imo, before the old man that started it passed away and they added so much to the menu. Back then all you could get were Ribs and a loaf of white bread.
