Default Creosote Cleaning...

I've started using a Smoke Daddy on my GMG pellet grill. The SD works great, but cleaning the creosote built up on the unit is a real pain. What is the best way to clean this stuff out? Is there a particular solvent that will easily dissolve this stuff away?

You know that's what happened to my Smoke Pistol, got so caked up you could not clean it any more. I have a Smoke Daddy now and just use a wire brush to keep it clean.

I use a steel "toothbrush". They usually come in a set of three; one steel, one brass, one nylon. You can find them at Harbor Freight pretty cheap.

As stated above...use a brush to remove it.
