supposed to keep the transmitter cords from being pinched.... only opening is through the top.

where do you guys sit the transmitter so that it doesn't melt?

I just set mine on a piece of wood. Never had a problem yet.

I just run it through the door. I get HHH occasionally form being pinched, but I just reposition and close it back up.

I have a 2x4 sitting on top and run the wires thru the exhaust. I set the transmitter on that.
