Just put the thermo blanket on the GMG, but decided to use the Amaze-N on the Weber instead.

Light flurries, about 20 out. ...I ain't scared.

sloppy, but yummy.

Looks tasty! Can I ask why you decided not to use the Green Mountain. I am in northern climate and considering buying a Daniel Boone.

^^^ many reasons:

GMGDB just cleaned, and hopper currently full of mesquite pellets. All poised n ready for the next brisket.

AMazeN pellet tray was loaded with some nice and dry pellets ... which is what it takes to stay lit. ....been awhile ..figured I'd dust it off.

GMG requires a good cleaning every few, so better for longer cooks.

And sometimes it's nice to close the dampers, and head in when finished vs the 1/2hr or longer shutdown cycle of the GMG. (Depends on operating temp, and outside temp)

Weber kettle is my first Love, GMG is some high maintenance side action I have a love hate relationship with.
