Default Cooked a turkey yesterday

We had a turkey thawed and I couldn't decide if I wanted to smoke it or deep fry it. I decided to deep fry it, wish I could have a do over on that one thing came out like a hockey puck !! I over cooked it and I slathered it with my dry rub and I think the sugars in it made the skin like leather . Anyone want to come over for turkey LOL!!! Looks like hotdogs for dinner today

Bummer! Sounds like the thread should have been titled "Crucified a turkey today"
