Crab Legs
Has anyone tried smoking crab legs? Wondering how you did it and if they took on any significant amount of smoke?

I love smoked crab legs. The legs I get are usually frozen, I thaw them then just heat through on the smoker. They take on the smoke very well.
Here's the last batch I did in the drum. http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=182445 Good luck to you!

I've got some king crab legs that I've been thinking of smoking. At what temp do you usually smoke 'em Jeanie?

When I have a smoker full, I rotate the legs for even smoking. I love them. Hope they turn out well for you! :)

I've never smoked them, but do grill them a couple times a year. I put them on until the shells just start to char slightly. I haven't smoked them before as the meat is so delicate as is that I figured the smoke would just overpower the natural flavor of the crab.
