Thin Blue Morning (pic)
Monday I catered a wedding. It was a perfectly crisp and cool early fall morning,
just barely past dawn. The neighborhood was eerily quiet and the air was dead still. Shortly after I put the pork on my cookers I stood back and looked up. Through the leaves of our silver maple I saw the thin blue barbecue smoke slowly dancing in the morning sun. It was pretty cool, so I thought that I'd share what I saw. John |

That picture is everything I like about this time of year: crisp, cool morning, beautiful nature, and thin blue smoke making it's way heavenward.

What a great post & pic! Thanks for putting that up. As much as I need/crave sleep (I get up at 5 during the week) I still love having the cooker going early Saturday or Sunday morning - it's good for the spirit.

That picture is poetic in and of itself, but I could almost see it without looking just from your description. Nicely done sir!
