Default Going on a mission trip and feeding 200 people..How many turkeys?

I will be on a church mission trip over Thanksgiving and one evening we will be frying up turkeys for about 200 people (families with kids) so I need to figure out how many turkeys we will need. I'm going to have a couple of deep fryers so I just need to time them out to have them done in time. Any input would be great.

Wow, that sounds like one heck of an endeavor. Wish I had any helpful knowledge but unfortunately, can only offer praise at your good deed. Best of luck!

I think the recommendation is 1 to 1.5 lbs of uncooked turkey per person. If you shoot at the middle you would need 250 lbs of raw turkey. If you had 15 lb turkeys you would need about 17.
