Brew-B-Q ,I am sure there will be plenty of competition at Milwaukee :twisted: I still dont believe the last couple weeks.See every one thursday nite for the judging class.
 
congrats to coz, and everyone else. i'm a newbe and was hoping to get around to visit friday night but the weather was not compatable with my tarp shelter sytem. maybee next time. had a great time over all and looking forward to doing it again next year.

Big congrats to Coz, Alex, Jeff, Ron L (sure hope you and Amy feel better soon) and all who walked. Great to meet Clark and his Wyocena yaht club (I need a 38 foot sloop :p), Andy (the snore master), Anita and so many others. Thanks to Ramona, aka the weather lady, aka, Kathy for her help.

Also want to thank the heart and soul of the Smokin' Scotsmen. Tonto, as per usual, stepped up big at this event. With Joe and Nicole not able to make it, Tonto got it done and made it happen. Thanks, honey.

It was fun and I enjoyed it. Sorry about the wind and rain but we didn't get the hail. It was fun meeting so many of the brethern and congrats to all that walked. Tonto was incredible and I hope she's feeling better. It's a pleasure being on your team. Looking forward to KC.

Congrats to the King of the Princeton/Westfield corridor, Mr Cossman. Also big props to Alex, and everyone else that walked. Looked like a good turnout, nice to see some more Madison area teams competing. Sorry to have missed the contest, not sorry I missed another bad weather weekend.

Let me say that there is no farking way I could have done this without the help of my friend Derek (dburmester on here). He probably feels a little used today because he was kinda my pit beyotch for the weekend. Thank you Derek for a wonderful weekend, and for doing anything I asked you to do. You were great! If it hadn't been for you chanting "We gotta go, we gotta go, we gotta go!" for brisket turn in I would have lost our only call. Even running as fast as my wee short legs would carry me we made turn in by 3 seconds.

Congratulations again to all of the teams.

Clark, Thanks for posting this. It was great to see you again and congrats on another comp walk in Brisket!

Walt & Tonto, I was soooo glad to see you guys make the trip on such short notice I just wish we had more time to just sit and relax, unfortunately, with Angelo out sick I had to do the boxes… I think I need to train a backup for him… And Ramona, the next time that Tonto says for you to come and check if I’m awake, just say no…

Andy, I’m sorry I missed the punch this time… It was cold enough that I would have completely enjoyed it!!! Congrats on the walk!

Coz, what can I say, great showing all the way around. I’m sorry we didn’t get to spend more time to just sit and talk.

Pete, wow, 10th place! I remember last year you were just glad you had figured out your remote thermometers!

Ron & Amy, It was great seeing you guys again and congrats on the walks and I hope you two are feeling better. We really need to set up a mini-bash around here… Seems like the only time we see each other is at comps and you’re only 30 minutes away…

Billy, I saved the best for last… It was fun-tastic being parked next to you. Way to go with the chicken breasts… I wouldn’t have thought that you could pull it off but you did!
 
Congrats Coz on the GC and the rest of the Brethren that got calls. It was great seeing everyone again and meeting Walt, Tonto, Ramona, and Trekmstr. Pete thanks for the Apple Pie. Finished the bottle yesterday. Walt sorry for snoring so loud (Seagrams will do that to me). Had my first DQ this event. I dont agree with the way it was done but glad I got it out of my way. The only down side is I didnt get my DAL at the same time. Some day someone will have to explain to me how a box can be accepted and then DQ'd. Boils down to my own fault for cutting it to close. Jeff you didnt miss any punch as I was sound asleep before I got a chance to make any :lol:.
 
You guys are gonna make Billy think I'm an Alchoholic if you keep talking about my apple pie. Dive, I am pretty proud of the fact that none of my temp alarms made it to the beeping stage this year.
 
i like that you can admit your an alcie...lol...we had had blast... i am happy the way we did considering that was my first cook on my new cooker...swithing from pellet to wood again is a big switch... dive there is no way i could have compeeted and vended with out your help.. andy thanks for your help again and ron i hope you and amy feel better soon nice job coz for the weather we had it says alot about a cook to do good so you earned that one big time.thanks to all who loned borrowed and gave me the crap i needed to get it done!
