Default Monroe County Style BBQ Sauce

This post is in regards to an older post where Sir BBQ and others was trying to locate a certain style of sauce found in the Dale Hollow area of Tennessee/Kentucky. I hope those who were looking for the recipe find this thread.

Monroe County Style BBQ Sauce
1 gallon cider vinegar
1 small can (16oz) crisco
1-2 sticks of butter
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup pepper
1/4 cup cayenne (more of you like it hotter)

you may need to play with the SnP and cayenne to get it where you like it.
