Default Got called out

by Willkat98

I got caught up in the forum and completely forgot an introduction.

I'm not too new but new enough to the smoke game. I currently use a Brinkman professional grill that I use for my "smoking". I desperately want a proper smoker but this will have to do for now.

I've been doing ribs for the last couple of years and have just ventured into the butts and they turned out great.

Looking forward to learning more tips to perfect my smoking or get it as close as I can

Not sure where Moncks Corner is, but if there is a Freecycle or Craigslist site for your area, keep an eye out for "slightly loved" smokers. There have been a lot of good scores among the brethren when people discard things they don't know how to use.

Welcome aboard.

It's about 30 miles NW of Charleston. It's up near Lake Moultrie.

The Berkeley Barbecue Cookoff is being held here this weekend.
I'll probably go for the turn ins and judging in the morning
