New smoker!

I see a bunch of fun and even more delicious grub in your future! Congratulations!

Keep the pr0n rollin'. Fun to see new rigs get dirty.

I'm really close to ordering one of these, but I'll admit I'm not very knowledgeable about the competition when it comes to these types of smokers. Price and features sure seem to meet my needs. Getting tired of pellets to be honest and looking for something with a more traditional flavor profile. I'd love to be able to let it ride overnight unattended.

Check out the Humphrey's Battle Box. Contact Kevin Rundell 518-488-1015, he also has a sales and venture sight on here under Northeast Professional BBQ. They're smokers are amazing.

Well, Rexbbq, now you've had this just curious how much you've cooked on it and what you think about it. Love to hear full review..

Kind of has a 270 vibe going on with the dolly action to move the smoker around and the chimney cap placement.

Anybody with an insulated cabinet can really appreciate the dolly ability of the wheel setup.

I have cooked on three times. All with water in the pan. Love it. Since full pans fit on the shelves and in the water pan there is very little cleanup. The smoker gives a great smoke flavor and I am getting excellent color. I would totally recommend it. I got about 20 hours at 225 on one basket of charcoal. Plus, the dolly setup is great for moving it around. The only thing that I wish the smoker had, was a probe port. But besides that, it is pretty much perfect. I have been using pellet smokers exclusively for a couple years. This gives such a better smoke flavor than the pellet smokers.

I used to have a Superior SS1 gravity feed. Which I loved. But having a large charcoal basket, gives a little more security for overnight cooks, as I do not have to worry about bridging. Plus, the basket is more than large enough for a long cook.

I must say, I love it.

Sounds like your not getting much use out of it. Three times is all...... Might want to sell that used smoker. Lmao

rexbbq, I'd love to hear more about this unit as you continue to use it.

Me too..... Have you tried it without the guru? Any grease fires? Have you tried dry smoking? And most of all..... Food quality and taste

Hey Rexbbq- Got any Q-vue photos to share?
