Thumbs up 1st attempt at pork butt success is mine! thanks

Here is a quick summary of my first attempt at pork butt smoking. Turned out great and will be a staple for the family for many years to come. Thanks to all my fellow Brethren who contribute their "secrets" on this outstanding forum. Special thanks go to Phil, Bull, Trucky and Roo-BQn. You have injected me with your "secrets" and inspiration to great Q-ing. I am addicted

Here's the Pron... If you notice, I had to sample a piece of the bark in the left corner of the butt.

I am also asking the "Pros" to rate the Bark. Good, bad needs something.

There is nothing wrong with that hunks of meat. The bark looks really nice. The sammie looks great.

And I would expect a small piece (or pieces) to be missing along the way. It happens at my house too.

Def not a pro but, but it looks good to me. The bark looks awesome and the sammie looks great too. I wouldn't mind having a little of that myself.
