Paul that was a wise decision to stick with the large real axle and tire with the front pneumatic casters, nobody has a patio model that is as easy to handle as your models are that's a fantastic pit for the price!

I like the design and all of the features. Did I hear you correctly that the steel is 3/8" thick?

The pipe part is 3/8 where I frame the cabinet is 1/4..... since it is not exposed to direct heat.... firebox is 1/4
