Default Giant Eagle Grocery Pork sale

Giant Eagle Grocery chain in Columbus, Ohio (and likely other parts) has their "bone - in" whole pork loins on sale for 1.17 a pound. boneless whole loins are like 1.37. I bought one of each. Had the bone in loin cut into thick centercut chops and two bone in roasts. Heck of a deal! They usually only have the bone in loins once or twice a year.

What's a bone-in pork loin? I wasn't aware that the loin had bones ...

yup..they have bones..but i'm assuming mostly they get seperated for ribs then that leaves boneless loin.
