Default Smoke Daddy Pellet Pro 440 Unboxing

Nice guys to work with. Great service. Fast shipping. Very well packaged. Easy to assemble. Reasonably priced product with some higher end features. It looks pretty good too!

My initial thoughts are that it's heavier/sturdier than others in this price range. I'll fire it up this weekend. Work is kind of crazy right now. And yes... there will be a fatty involved. I'm excited. I appreciate all you guys working so hard to push me over the edge. Especially Smitty...too bad they don't come in red. I went with the all black model with the SS table to match the Shirley.

I'm not all that familiar with that unit but I think it is cute, I'd take that pellet grate thing out it just gets in the way. Welcome to the dark side!

Yeah, i know it's small but I'm done buying big cookers. That allows me to save money or buy more cookers. I have other big cookers if i need to do a bigger cook. Should be able to get 2 briskets in this one. It's not well known but it's got a 3 year warranty on electronics and 7 on the body. I was wondering the purpose of the grate in the hopper.

Eventually you will walk over open the hopper and stir the pellets with your hand. That grate keeps yours or anyone else’s fingers from coming in contact with the auger

I leave mine

I’ve had two friends walk over and stick their hands in the pellets. “Just to see@

I either read, saw or dreamed it. But makes sense regardless.

You can add a 2nd cooking grate if you need more space. Bottom is 22x19.5, top 22x16. They have a lot of options. Another reason i chose Smoke Daddy.

Smokin Brothers, GMG DC, Rec-tec but the Blazin was #1 until i realized i don't really need another cooker. I just wanted to try pellets. The Pellet Pro was perfect for what i wanted....A really well built cooker with the features i wanted without being too expensive. I'm also big on cooking in pans so the grate size was a big bonus. I can't think of anything it didn't have. And if i think i need something later they have a ton of add ons i can order later.
