Contest Announcment New date for Hay Capital BBQ Cook Off- September 7/8, 2012

Don't know if everyone is aware that the Hay Capital BBQ Cook Off that use to be held on the second weekend of July has been moved to the second weekend of September. It should be cooler than in July and now the contest is only a couple weeks before the American Royal. That means the Hay Capital BBQ cook off would be a great contest to come and hone your skills and get all the bugs out of your game before the big show in KC. We have always had a good number of teams and good teams at that and we hope that this move will allow more teams to be able to come to our little town and enjoy The Yates Center Mardi Grass Festival. That's great Shane. By the way, we plan to have the awards ceremony under to trees in the park again this year. It was your idea and we think its the best improvement to the contest yet. Thanks again
