Marinaded Tri-tip O so good
When I was at Steph's Big Brother Smokes house for a get together he told me about marinading Tri-tip in Kikkoman Roasted Garlic Teriyaki Sauce. So I did today
A 3.80 lb. untrimmed Tri-tip punched some holes with a large fork. Put in a zip-lock bag with the marinade in the fridge for 7hrs. I wanted some stuffed potatoes with it. Bacon grease Salt and pepper On the raised grid @ 400* for an hour This is the paint scraper my brother Cal turned me on to to scrape my grids, gets into all the place's Green onions, Shallots, mushrooms, garlic, bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and Grana Padano Parmesan cheese Tri-tip on the CIG for 3-min a side @400* Then on a raised grid for 30-min. a side @ 350* Turned over the Tri-tip and added the stuffed potatoes for another 30-min. After another 30-min pulled the Tri @130* interior and potatoes to rest for 10-min. Served with Brussels sprouts. The Tri-tip was vary tender and vary tasty. Thanks for looking Ross http://grillingandsmoking.blogspot.com/

A work of art!!! I have used the Kikkoman Roasted Garlic Teriyaki Sauce many times on tri-tip and boy is it good. I haven't made it in a while since im in love with Santa Maria Style but I used to baste it throughout the entire cook with the excess sauce. Man you got my mouth watering just thinking about it!
