Default Camping Ribs

Hi all, wanted to share a couple pics of some ribs I made while camping last weekend. I used a Jumbo Joe and PartyQ I modified for off-the-grid smoking. I used this setup a few times now and the results are always pretty solid. This particular cookout was at around 8500' near Mt. Antero in the Colorado Rockies.

Looks very nice. I have been in the NC mountains the past few days and this elevation affected our cook times, I can only imagine that yours was that x2.

Looking mighty tasty.
I tried to cook pasta in Breckenridge one time and let's say-
it was mush. Challenging cooking at altitude.

Very clever use of the Jumbo Joe (a very under-rated cooker IMO).

@JeffJ, thank you. My buddy gringed when I was drilling the hole for the ATC port. Now after enjoying the fruits of my labor on several camping smoke-outs he is a believer.
