Just thought I would let everyone know that Kroger has pork shoulder/boston butt on sale for $.99/lb. (With your Kroger card) I picked up a couple on Sunday. Not sure if this is a chain wide sale, or a local one, but check it out if you need to stock up.
 
Bi-Lo stores has them for $.99 in the GA-AL-TN area stores too.
Momma got me stocked up this weekend.:smile:
 
I bought a couple there last week they were .99, didn't look at this weeks flyer yet, it came yesterday.

Bought five last week. Made 14lbs of sausage and froze the other three. May go back for more if they are still on sale. Thanks for the info.
 
Ours had them on sale last week.

I stopped by yesterday and they still had them marked .99/lb. They were 17lbs each. I grabbed it and it rang up 1.59/lb. They did some higher level math and rang me up for 8.43 lbs @ 1.59/lb and then the card took off another $2.59. I added up what they charged and it ennded up being .83/lb.

Sausage sounds like a good idea. I did get that grinder for Christmas.
 
I went last night and the sale was off. The stores around here had them at .99 last
week. They are $1.79 now.
