How much do I prepare
I have been asked to cook for a surprise birthday party. There are going to be about 75 people.
I am going to do boston butts and chicken wings. I was thinking about 4 (9 lb) boston butts and probably about 100 wings. Do you think this will be enough? Someone else is fixing all the sides, not sure what they are. Thanks for the feedback. Doug

Re: How much do I prepare
Might want to you the wings to 150. That should be enough in case there are non pork eaters there.
sent from my Crifftastic $3

I agree with at least 150 wings. And I feel 1/3 pound if pork per person is about right. I would guess 15-20 pounds finished product. Around 40 pounds raw none-in butts would bet guess

With the wings, I think you can get by with 1/4 lb servings for the pork, but pork is relatively cheap, so it wouldn't hurt to have more.

Kids? If so, I would suggest chicken legs. Seems to popular amongst that age group. Besides, they come with a built in handle. Good luck with your cook!
