Not as good a deal as earlier this year but not bad, I guess.

Initially was only going to pickup up 4 bags, but after talking to the supervisor about a price match with Lowes he marked it down to $10.00 ea so added another 4 bags. Why Not.

If you can hit them in another month, take it they still have inventory, you can usually get a good deal on charcoal. I picked up a pallet of kingsford last year for 8 dollars per twin pack of 20 lb bags. They wanted rid of it, and I needed charcoal!

Yep, I stocked up last night.

And this may just be because it was Wednesday and maybe they'll change the display as the holiday gets closer, but here's what got my attention: In May and leading up to 4th of July, HD had a HUGE mountain of 2-packs right by the door. This time, they had just a little display off to the side. Point is, maybe they don't make as much available on Labor Day as they do earlier in the summer? Maybe supplies will be kinda limited?

Loaded up the other day even though I probably didn't need to (at least my wife told me I didn't need to).
