Default BBQ Makes Everything Better - featuring the BBQ Explosion new Cookbook!

Title should read: BBQ Makes Everything Better - featuring the Bacon Explosion new Cookbook!

I received my copy of the new Cook book BBQ Makes everything better by Jason Day & Aaron Chronister

It features the now infamous BBQ Explosion and so many great recipes from Moinks to Desserts and everything in between.

I really enjoy this cookbook. Its going to make an excellent addition to anyones BBQ Cookbook library. I wish there were more color pictures but the recipes are really solid.

I also think it was a great idea for them to include beer and wine pairings for the recipes.

It is also what I would consider a value added cookbook as inside each book there is a code that allows the user to access members only sections of their website.

It will be available on Amazon May 4th 2010 .

Here is the link to the rest of my review including the chapters.

Congrats Jason and Aaron! Can't wait to check it out. Hopefully the Fakin' Explosion isn't in there though cause that's going in my book, Tofu Makes Everything Worse.

Always like your recommendations. Who couldn't use another jam packed BBQ cookbook? This one looks to be a good one and the code is a nice incentive as well.

Makes me wonder if I really do want to write a Smokin Cook Book?

Thank you very much for the support! We've been working on that book since the Bacon Explosion went viral in early 2009. I can't wait to hear some thoughts after you guys try out some of the recipes.

Clint - I wouldn't wish the Fakin Explosion on my worst enemy!!!

Congrats, Jason... I knew you were working on the book, glad to see it coming out!

I do like my bacon implosion version... much better than the Fakin' version. :)

I just finished thumbing through the book myself this afternoon and I agree with Diva...a good addition to your arsenal if you are looking for something that provides good reference and solid recipes!!

Good job boys!! Look for Jason (and maybe Aaron if he gets the time right) sometime in May for the release interview on the radio show!

Glad to hear that you like the book Greg! I'm making up a batch of Kansas City Caviar later tonight for tomorrow's BBQ. Can you believe they put me on veggie duty?!?!?!

I came home from Indianapolis last night to find my advanced copy waiting for me at home. There are approximately 100 recipes in the book and everyone I looked at sounded pretty fun to me. It is one of those recipe based books where you could make about anything out of there and amaze about anybody. I found myself going from recipe to recipe thinking, "That's so simple, and so cool... but why didn't I think of that." Dishes that just plain make sense. This book is full of them.

A fun dinner party idea would be to randomly take a recipe from the apps, entrees, sides and desserts chapters. There just isn't a bad one in the book. Nice job, Jason & Aaron.

Thanks for the kind words Todd! The bacon wrapped pork medallions on page 69 sound pretty damn tasty too.

What is the difference between a bacon explosion and a fatty or does it go by both names?
