My New Rotis Build

I have had this design bouncing around inside my head for more than quite a few years now. I have built more than a dozen traditional hog rotisserie's with the single rotating platform that rotates on its axis 180 degrees. This will be my first attempt at a carousel. It will have 4 cooking racks 14" x 42" that will give me 2,352 square inch's of rotating cook top. I cut out all of the carousel parts this morning. Hope to start fabricating this beast in a few days.

I'm old school, I like 100% wood cooking but, you should be able to run either or a mix of the two.

Yes, going to have a gearbox and turned by a chain and sprocket.

I think the value of the roti is that it lets you get direct fire. Infra Red is my friend
