WOW Rub I say my man!!!Damn that was a big one to put in your hat! Congrats!
First outing as Spicewine Smokers Had a good time cooking with Julie, Skip & Kids. We got spanked for the most part pulling off only a 5th in ribs. Ribs was the only catigory I was happy with and so it shows... Maybe next year! Michelle and I had lunch again today with Julie and Skip and I'm guessin they will be back to FL to smoke again! |

Thanks Jimmy! It is my first KCBS GC ever, so I was very stoked to get it considering the big teams that were there from at least 5 different states.
And I forgot to thank you especially for the monster cup of coffee and fattie-on-a-biscuit early Saturday morning. It was 40 something freaking degrees out, I was freezing and hungry, and there's my bud Jimmy with this big-azz cup of piping hot joe for me Then less than an hour later he sends Julie over with an arm full of hot sausage biscuits for me! You are da bomb mi amigo  .And I didn't get a chance to tell you, but one of those biscuits went to my neighbor, and made a great impression. And guess where he has been the GM for the past 18 years? He was asking if it would be OK to bring some of the girls out to sell his vending food on Saturdays!?  Can I get a hell yeah?
