Technically, you could! I never got around to it, but I did make pig candy ice cream once. Pictures didn't turn out so well, but it would have been a valid Throwdown entry at the time, as it featured a smoked/grilled ingredient.

As to the tuna melt, if you grilled the sammich on some kind of grill, it would also qualify, though you would be at the mercy of the voters on that one!

Official entry first picture with smoker. Venison mixed with Wagyu brisket trimmings from this past year. 25 pounds of garlic and black pepper summer sausage. Second picture is finished product cut up for my 3 year old. Can’t say I noticed a big difference from the Wagyu trimmings.

The second pic is an official entry in the Foods You Love throwdown.

I've always loved a good burger.

Saturday we ground up a couple of chuck steaks with a little bit of pork belly thrown in for a some more flavor and the fat content. I made some 4 ounce patties. Then I put some whole green chillies on top of 4 of them. I threw on some sharp cheddar and placed 4 more of the patties on top. Then I sealed the edges so the cheese wouldn't leak out. While they were grilling on the Weber, I prepared my bun with sliced onion, pickles and a few more slices of cheese. (you could call me a cheese lover)
