Cooking some ribeyes on my dads old Weber (1989). My dad is gone but his kettle keeps on keepin' on.

No food pic. I'm a tease.

Okay I'll stop teasing... shoulder, chicks, and fattie on big ol' wine barrel smoker. Yes that is a 22" grate on top of the expanded inside the smoker, it was a bigun...

After looking at all these great pics, I don't have much to add. Maybe just some bacon stuffed smoked cabbage.

Bassman...That looks great
Do you mind posting just how you made them

Did you smoke them wrapped in foil?
Just bacon for stuffing? Maybe butter?
What grate temp and how long cook time?

Benny

First, I cored the head, then poked the hole full of real butter (almost filled the hole). Piled it up with chopped bacon. I smoked it at 225°-240° on a piece of foil with the edges turned up to catch any butter or juice for about two hours. Once it started to brown up nicely I wrapped the foil around to steam it and keep it from burning. It took between 4 and 5 hours to cook.
