Default First cook on my completed UDS.

Here are some shots of my new UDS and the maiden cook. In the shot of the fatties, my wife couldn't grab the camera quick enough before slices were missing. Total time on the Butt was 11hrs.

Food and smoker looks good. I also had my first UDS smoke today. I did not plan for enough time and had to pull the butt before it's time. I will try again next weekend.

Why would somebody buy the new 22" Weber WSM when you can build 4 to 8 of these for the same $$?

Isn't it great when your first cook on a new toy turns out that good.

I love it!

Great looking UDS (is that a contradiction in terms?) and the food looks great too!

Only problem I see is with the fatties.... You only made two of them!
