HELP! BBQ Guru CyberQ Wifi Email Alerts
So I'm trying to get this setup with no luck. I have set it up like the below with no luck. One troubleshooting step I have taken was sending an email from www.gmx.com email client to [email protected]. That worked perfectly. Any other ideas?
SMTP Hostname: smtp.gmx.com SMTP TCP Port: Tried port 587 and 25 SMTP Authentication Username: Your gmx username w/ @gmx.com... SMTP Authentication Password: Your gmx password... Email Recepient: The email address you want to send it to. I have AT&T so I used the email text format: [email protected] Email From: Does not really matter who it is, but I just do it the same as the recipient. |

I haven't set mine up for e-mail yet. If GMX is using SSL for their SMTP server and the Guru supports that then you should try port 465.
