This has been hashed around a lot here and elsewhere.

Here is what I think I know-
COOK WHAT YOU COOK BEST AND LIKE BEST

A "quality" entry of either type will beat a "so-so" entry of the other type any day, any where.

Don't spend your time second guessing Judges. Hell, many of us can't tell the difference, and I am not kidding here.
