Since I cannot smoke for myself for a while, when we want BBQ, that is where we go. The only thing that has ever disappointed us was the brisket, but only one or two times. The other times, it has been good. Everything else has been good. Try the creamed corn!

Wandering around with a bag of matchlight, looking for a match.
I've been to Rudy's in El Paso and Houston, and I've been impressed. The turkey in El Paso was some of the moistest, tastiest I've ever eaten! The pitmaster told me they don't inject it -- they just slather it in mayo before putting it on the smoke.

Im so sorry you are about to be subject to chain bbq....... they suck at brisket but their yard bird and pork are not bad. The best they have however is their breakfast tacos (yes they are greasy but damn tasty).
