Existing competitions have until January 1 to get their applications into KCBS in order to keep the same date. It then takes the board until the next meeting to approve them and then they get posted. You'll see some posted between now and the end of the year, but most will be posted sometime in January. Any new competitions will be posted as the apps are received and approved.
If you take a look at the 2011 calendar for IL on the KCBS web site and then a 2012 calendar you can pretty safely assume that the existing comps will be held on the same weekend. Some may drop out, but that will at least give you something for planning for now.
