Default Cook Times At Higher Elevations

Do your cook times increase at higher elevations? I usually cook at around 2,000 feet but I'm going to be cooking for a friend this weekend at about 4,500 feet and I was curious if my times will change due to the elevation change? Trying to keep my timelines in order, Thanks for your help!

I don't notice it when cooking meat, I do see a difference when cooking things like dried beans and brown rice since water boils at a lower temp so those items definitely take longer. Also I see a difference when baking usually need to add a little extra time. When I'm doing pork, beef and chicken my cook times seem to be inline with Brethren members at lower altitudes. I am at 4580'.

Did a wedding at about 9,600 elevation. Definitely took way longer than usual. I think your elevation change though should not be to affected. You are not going that high.

I found out about this the hard way on a camping trip a few years back. Brought a Weber 22inch OTS along for the trip and decided to cook up a rack of BB's. I was running the kettle pretty hot, pushing close to 300. The campground was around 7400 feet. Ribs started at 5pm, finished at 9pm!
