OK - So I posted pics of the Pizza demonstration at last weekends BBQ class and just wanted to share a little more of what went on. I had built and donated an Ugly Drum Smoker to be given away as a door prize after we cooked on them. Since the class was at Apple Creek Timber Inc. I added a special touch.

There was a demonstration on making your own lump charcoal by Rick Naug of Badges, Brews and Barbecues.

And some of you may have recognized Chef Amy Anderson and Melanie Tapia of Mad Momma and the Kids fame. They were on hand to give their spin on Championship BBQ.

My setup for the Drum Smoker demonstration. Everyone was amazed at how effortlessly they performed!

On December 4 2007 a mudslide destroyed the Ranch House BBQ. After all Amy and Melanie had been through with their restaurant it was great they were able to help us with ther expertise.

So if any of you WAFO's are cruising down the I-5 corridor pull off in Olympia and drop by the Ranch House in the Governor Hotel!

Steve Rood was the lucky winner of the new Drum Smoker!
