Pizza/Stromboli
I made a Detroit style pizza and the other pizza was a pappa johns clone that turned into a stromboli. I was having issues since the pizza was to big for my peel and I almost lost it so I just folded over and baked.
I changed a few things from the Detroit style recipe. I dresssed the dough with evoo before adding toppings whuch gave a real nice taste. I greased the pan with shortening. I didn't get the the edge to darken like I wanted but it was one of my best tasting Detroit style pies. |
