Plans for a Backyard Smoker?
Does anyone have a good set of plans for a backyard smoker? If I took it to a metal shop and had them build one, what plans would you suggest? It can be on casters, but not a trailer. What do you consider the best? I know this is kind of open ended, but I just thought it might be a good conversation.

Why not just buy from a place that builds them? There are quite a few on here like TuscaloosaQ.

I was just thinking out loud. West Michigan isn't really known for their Smoker/Grill makers...

Have you thought about going the UDS route? I was first thinking of a getting a big ol offset made but then I came across the UDS concept and I love it. Looks really simple to make/have made and simple to use.

I'm working on my first RF smoker right now with my son. As mentioned smokerbuilder.com sells plans for them, but I'm just winging it and building as I go. It's a labor of love
