Side note. This poll does take into account the number of each cooker you have. So really the average could be much higher!!!!!

Wow, people here have a LOT of different cookers. With 163 voters, there are 688 cooking units selected or an average of 4.22 cookers per voter. Sadly, I'm below average with just 2. I guess I could have selected "other" too to account for my propane fired turkey fryer, but alas I'd still be below average.

pretty much in line with conventional thinking. I think the griddle is just a bonus category as I doubt anyone on this site is here with a griddle as their only cooker.

kind of surprised at how low pellet cookers are on the list.

This is turning out to be a real eye-opener. And quite a few surprises as well.

How can it be that only 21.47% have a UDS? Almost every thread has somebody telling the poster to build one.

For the record, it's 4.22 cooker TYPES per voter. I personally own multiple cookers of multiple types - 4 drums, 3 pellet smokers, etc..

I currently have 4 cookers, but thankfully the offset will be traveling to a new home in a couple weeks and I am selling the bullet to a friend cheap so she can get into smoking...

It's a vocal minority

Similar to the gas grill haters but gas grill is the second most popular cooker type
