Help! Can't get my Kamado Joe to get to temperature!
I have adding more charcoal. Done everything I know how but can't get it over 175 degrees. I am trying to cook two pork tenderloins indirect but the grill won't get any hotter. Suggestions?

Did you clean the firebox before adding new charcoal? I believe old charcoal/ash may be clogging up the intake holes in the fire box.

Sometimes ash or a tiny piece of lump can get stuck in the holes of the firebox and the fire grate. Most likely that's whats going on. It's a PITA, but that's why I like placing larger pieces of lump on the bottom, then pile on the smaller pieces on top.

It could also be wet or damp charcoal.
