Anyone know where to find the Injecter that Holy Smokes was using when she was injecting her picnic? It looked like it had a trigger on it and it was green.

Awesome thx...it's sold out right now on the pit bull site, but for that price I'll wait till it becomes available.

I personally don't like the injectors that only put out injection of tip. I got bad streaking with that design. I much prefer the 4oz stainless injectors from academy with 12 holes and a sharp point. I think they are called Cajun injectors. $19. I think I would break that cheap lookin little thing.

Ive had two from PitBulls and they both stopped working after using them about three or four times. (Loved them when they worked) But Very aggravating.

You have to strain the injection before using the injectors. I do that when using mine and have had no problems with it.

I guess I skimped. I use the ones from ACADEMY.
I don't rightly care what it looks like as long as it does the job.
I also strain my liquid. No problems.

I tihnk i have 3 of the Pitbulls injector and Wampus and I destroyed one within about a hour after buying it because we didnt strain the liquid... but since then they have worked flawlessly

Yeah, the key is straining your injection when using the Pitbulls injector. If not, it clogs up the "push-pull" valves that make it work.

Also, it can be used with really any injection needle. We have swapped out the included needle with one that has 4 holes on the sides.

Wow. That link is on the cheap! I use that injector quite a bit with no issues, but I only use liquids, which could explain the issues others have had and my good luck.

I highly recommend that you get it from here -

Only as a last restort, here -

I have the much more affordable Pitbull version and it works like a champ.

This is not a fair comparison, if you wanted to link the mabbqa store you should link the 5 ml injector for 29,

I'm looking for one of these myself. How does the 5ml do with pork butts and brisket? It seems like it would take forever injecting just 5ml at a time?

Go to a farm supply store and buy a livestock syringe. They are high grade aluminum with a 50cc capacity. Then you can select 1-5cc to inject at a time. They are threaded so you can adapt it to what ever needle you want. Because it doesn't say some food company or BBQ on it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Got mine for $20
