Steak, Shrimp & Sweet Taters...
It happens to be my B-Day, so what better way to celebrate than a good steak. Who am I kidding, I just did steaks a few days ago for no reason. But, because of the special occasion, I added some big ole shrimp from Costco and a sweet potato.
I got myself a 21oz Prime Ribeye from Costco. Seasoned with Oakridge BBQ Carne Crosta and Santa Maria and grilled on the Weber 26. Seasoned the Shrimp with Santa Maria and a little Habanero Death Dust. Topped the sweet potato with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. While going out for steak at these times isn't even an option, there is a reason I ALWAYS prefer to stay home when we want steak. No offense to the local establishments, but it's much better (and cheaper) at home... Few pics of the cook. Thanks for looking!!!

Ha Ha, from the looks of that awesome plate you won't be going out for dinner again! I have never seen that at a "steakhouse"... Nice job my friend!

Yeah, the combination of me being a little cheap and really enjoying my own steaks, my family knows my vote is never going to the chain steakhouse when we’re deciding where to eat, if going out. Just not worth it IMO...
