Talking Butternut Squash On The Kamado

Had not fired up the Kamado for a long time. The wife loves Squash so I picked one up. Added 3 Tbls butter and some Brown Sugar. Cooked at 350 Dome temp for about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

This cooker really holds temp's nice

Thanks for checking it out!!!

I love all squash, I grill them or bake them in the oven.
In the firehouse we would wrap them w/cellophane and nuke them due to time restraints.

Yours look awesome!

I love butternut squash! I've done some similar to this, just not on a kamado but a CG. try adding a few spices next time like cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, clove, ginger, or any combination of those. I know some people don't like certain spices, but pick the ones you like and it will take that squash to the next level. Just make sure to stick with the "sweet" spices!
